Checked at band 6.5 · 167 wordsA building I enjoy visiting is the public library near the river in my city. It's about twenty minutes from my home by bus, so it's easy to get there. The building is quite modern, with a lot of glass and a wide entrance. Inside, it's bright and quiet, and there are many tables and bookshelves. I usually go there on Saturday afternoon. I read books, use my laptop, or study English for a few hours. Sometimes I meet a friend there, and we talk quietly in the café on the first floor. I go about twice a month, but I went more often when I was preparing for an exam. I enjoy visiting it because it gives me a calm place to focus. At home, I can get distracted by housework or my phone, but in the library I find it easier to concentrate. I also like seeing other people reading. It makes me feel that I'm using my time well, and I leave feeling relaxed.
