A simpler answer
Checked at band 6.5 · 189 wordsI'd like to talk about my friend, Mei. She's 26 and lives in the same city as me. We met at a small language class three years ago, and we have stayed in touch since then. She is friendly and calm, and we often have dinner together after work.
She would like to become a nurse in a hospital. At the moment, she works in an office, but she is taking evening classes to prepare for an entrance exam. She hopes to study nursing next year.
She is interested in this job because she likes helping people. Her grandmother was ill for a long time, and Mei often went with her to the hospital. She saw that nurses did a lot of important work, such as checking patients and explaining what they needed to do. This made her think that nursing could be a good career for her.
I think she would be good at it. She is patient, and she listens carefully when people talk to her. The job can be tiring, but she is hardworking and doesn't give up easily. I hope she can reach her goal.
